Our Philosophy

Nice People. Smart Counsel.®

We enjoy being lawyers and we practice law in a manner that makes us proud of what we do. We strive to make the legal experience as pleasant as possible for our clients by being approachable and responsive. We focus on addressing our clients’ legal needs with direct, practical solutions. Although we are highly technical lawyers and well versed in our practice areas, we provide understandable advice that makes sense to our clients. We want to help our clients get their deals done and guide our clients through the process based on options that fit their risk tolerance profiles.

While we have no desire to be the biggest legal players in town, we are comfortable negotiating against them. Our founders have developed a seamless network of specialists that they can rely on to provide legal advice needed for large or more complex transactions. This network, organized and supervised by us, creates an alternative to utilizing a large firm as it provides a similar “one-stop shop” experience at more sensible rates.

Driven to be Entrepreneurs.®

Colleen and Lauren both received their initial legal training and began their legal careers at White & Case LLP, a U.S. based global law firm that is consistently in the top 15 of the AmLaw Global 100. They then worked together at Alvarez & Diaz-Silveira LLP, a highly sophisticated boutique transactional corporate and real estate law firm based in Miami where they developed the practice skills required to thrive in a smaller firm setting.

They created Grady Hunt PLLC so they could continue practicing the law that they loved while building their own entrepreneurial business that aligned with their philosophy.
